Sustainability Updates

We're only halfway through 2020, but I'm so excited to share the goals I've reached to create a more sustainable business!

In January, I signed up for a fabric waste box from Terracycle. Previously, I was donating my scraps locally for textile recycling, but I was uneasy about the company not being able to assure me the scraps were actually being recycled. Now, every scrap of fabric, thread and elastic is recycled.

I have also upgraded to recycled + reusable + recyclable + plastic-free packaging from EcoEnclose. This includes all mailing envelopes and boxes.

The latest upgrade is my move to use 100% recyclable + compostable packaging labels.

Here at Union Rose, everyday is Earth Day, and I'm so proud to make my business practices as sustainable as possible!
