About Me

This is a photo of me wearing a white tank top and a burnt orange neck scarf tie.Supplied with my grandma Helen’s vintage sewing machine and my grandma Billye’s eclectic stash of vintage fabrics, I opened my handmade shop in 2014.

Over the years, I've created a range of handmade and hand-dyed pieces, but bag making is my true love. I make handmade, small batch bags from vintage fabrics and quilts.

Taking something old and transforming it into something new is a passion of mine. So many old textiles become forgotten and discarded, and each piece has a story.

I love taking these secondhand textiles and creating practical pieces you can carry with you everyday.

I’m a proud woman-owned shop, and I’m grateful for the inspiration and support found in my creative community.

Sustainability is a top priority for my shop. My packaging is recycled, reusable, recyclable and plastic-free. All packaging labels are recyclable and compostable. Every scrap of fabric and thread is recycled via Terracycle’s textile recycling program.

As a full time shop owner, I fulfill orders quickly, respond to messages and work to build relationships with each of my customers.

Thank you for supporting my shop, and thank you for stopping by!
